Located 12 miles west of Lebanon, Missouri, Bennett Spring State Park offers 3,338 acres of outdoor recreation centered around a spring that feeds into the Niangua River. Every day, over 100 million gallons of clear water flow from the springs, making it a popular spot for fly-fishing. To expand the park's amenities, a splash pad and playground replaced a 60-year-old swimming pool. The new play areas opened to the public during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025.

Designed by Waters Edge, in collaboration with Landworks Studio and featuring aquatic play products from Water Odyssey, the Bennett Springs State Park Splash Pad showcases a wildlife theme that blends the water play area with its natural surroundings. A custom trout-themed sprayer reflects the real trout that makes Bennett Springs a regional fishing destination, and sculptural water features adorned with a bee and dragonfly represent the diverse wildlife found throughout the park. The various sprays, misters, and dumping buckets are designed to support inclusive and creative play. Along with the dry playground, this splash pad provides young park visitors with hours of fun-filled play.

Guests can activate the splash pad with the push of a button, and a dynamic sequencing controller helps park staff manage operating hours and coordinate the different spray effects. The manifold system is made with brass valves to ensure durability and efficient water use.
