Waters Edge was honored to be a part of this aquatic facility that hosts school-aged children from all over the state of Texas. Waters Edge involvement began by providing an overall master plan for improving their facilities. Although many of the kids loved the existing pool, it left much to desire. The pool continuously lost a considerable amount of water daily, making the water very cold. Furthermore, it was not initially designed to accommodate children with various challenges or disabilities, particularly when entering and exiting the pool. With all of its limitations, this pool created a great deal of anxiety for the kids it intended to serve. The engineers and designers of Waters Edge adopted a unique approach to planning the pool facility and to best serve the children and staff.
