Siouxami Center, Iowa: Siouxnami Waterpark | Athletic Business
Waters Edge along with CMBA Architects led an outdoor aquatic facility project for Sioux Center, Iowa. The City of Sioux Center decided to enhance and expand the existing outdoor aquatic facility into a waterpark that would serve a more diverse population. Siouxnami Waterpark now offers a variety of features, including its signature zipline and lazy river with waves. Siouxnami Waterpark has a water surface area of 12,512 square feet and cost $6.6 million to construct.
Kirksville, Missouri: Kirksville Aquatic Center | Athletic Business
Waters Edge teamed up with SFS Architecture Inc., to design the renovation for the City of Kirksville, Missouri’s 1999 combined indoor and outdoor aquatic center. After the renovation, more community members are able to partake in a variety of activities due to the variations of depths and new amenities, such as water slides and a current channel. The aquatic features accommodate swim teams, water walking and water aerobics. The new design also engages young swimmers for easier entry and provides ample room for swim lessons and birthday parties.
