Surfing at Kansas City pool

Construction is nearing completion for the installation of a FlowRider wave simulation machine at the Bay Water Park in Kansas City, MO.  The new amenity is named the BayRider, which was decided through online voting from community members.  Summer of 2014 will be here before you know it and the FlowRider feature is notorious for drawing quite the crowd!  Long lines and wait times often accompany the FlowRider, but don’t fret, waiting in line gives spectators an opportunity to watch (and judge) others testing out their surfing skills.  Don’t be afraid of a little wipeout, it’s all part of the fun!

The unique water feature at West Glen Town Center in West Des Moines, Iowa features many different spray patterns.  The fountain showcases 29, six foot high sprays that run on a choreographed spray pattern.  One of the coolest aspects, other than the fact that it looks sweet at night is that this water feature doubles as both a beautiful fountain and a unique spray ground for children to play!
