Waters Edge Aquatic Design engineers and designers teamed with the City of Wellington representatives to creatively design a unique aquatic facility that fit the needs of community user groups, met budget demands, and maintained high quality design and construction standards. By analyzing community preferences, our designers incorporated the desired aquatic features coupled with a tropical island theme including palm trees, tiki hut shades, tropical themed play features and color selections, and a custom designed rockscape waterfall with a Texas Toucan sculpture. These unique tropical theming elements serve to enhance the aquatic experience for adults and kids alike at this tropical Texas oasis.

The Wav, Wellington Aquatic Venue, opened to the public in the summer of 2015. The aquatic facility features 8,297 square feet of water surface area packed with popular amenities. Key features include a zero-depth entry pool, a raised play structure with various splash and spray features, a floatable lily pad course, two full-size waterslides, six lap lanes, a climbing wall, a basketball hoop, two diving boards, and more!
