Project Type

Location

Lansing, KS

Year Completed

2022

The City of Lansing did not have a public outdoor swimming pool and began the feasibility study process with Waters Edge Aquatic Design. The goal of the study was to create a recreational water opportunity in the city that would be supported by the community.

Waters Edge Aquatic Design created a webpage with 3D renderings, QR codes, a community input survey, and project information for the public. Public support was a central priority for the city, therefore, Waters Edge helped in providing resources such as elaborate renderings to help assist in their effort to disseminate marketing materials for educating the public on the ballot measure. When the project went to vote in November 2022 for a sales tax, it passed.
