Previously known as the Riverside Municipal Pool, the newly renovated Riverside Aquatic Center opened to the public in the summer of 2025 after a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony on Tuesday, June 3. A $3.5 million investment saw the aquatic center receive its largest upgrade since its original construction in 1998 with remodeled features and amenities for all ages and abilities to enjoy. The outdoor aquatic center is adjoined with the Riverside Community Center, originally constructed in 1996.

One of the more major improvements was the expansion of the lap pool and construction of a larger pool deck with new shade structures, increasing safety and providing ample space for both swimmers and loungers. Perhaps the most notable addition to the aquatic center is the new splash pad area with water features suited for children of all ages. Along with the outdoor pool improvements, the indoor space was expanded and received new private restrooms and shower facilities, and a new party room to provide a modern venue for group events and celebrations.
