Waters Edge Aquatic Design provided comprehensive planning, design, and construction administration for a modern water park for the City of Kansas City. Working closely with the community, stakeholders from multiple arenas were actively engaged in the design, amenity selection, and naming process.

The Bay Water Park was planned and developed to be a family-friendly facility while providing water recreation to the community and surrounding areas. This modern aquatic facility caters to all age groups with an array of features including a zero-depth entry pool with a play structure and multiple sprays, a six-lane 25 yard lap pool, a lazy river with waves and a waterfall, a basketball hoop, two raft water slides, a swirl bowl slide, a family slide, and more!

In 2014, The Bay Water Park added a FlowRider wave simulation machine, increasing the thrill factor for visitors and ensuring the park remains a popular destination for water recreation in the region. Guests will continue to enjoy the park's 15,238 square feet of water surface area and all the amenities it has to offer for years to come!
