The Park City Aquatic Center, located at Hap McLean Park, has three distinct water play areas with something for the whole family! Whether it’s taking a leisurely ride around the current channel, seeking a thrill on the Aqua Zip’n, getting your feet wet in the splash pad, or just tanning on the deck.

Park City’s previous public pool, built in a floodplain in the 1950s, was permanently closed in 2012. Since its closure, residents have consistently expressed a desire for a new public pool. Opened in May 2026, this $7.5 million project, designed by Waters Edge, was funded by proceeds from Park City’s local-option sales tax, which took effect in 2023 to support community-driven projects. The project team worked closely with city officials to determine the appropriate size and amenities for the near-10,000-resident community while keeping it affordable.
