The City of Hubbard, Iowa invested in improving their pool, original to year 1958. The classic shape of the pool was preserved, but changes were made to include steps into the gradient pool basin. A separate wading pool was removed and replaced with a brand-new chemical building. The bathhouse also underwent renovations changing the way patrons enter the facility and enjoy concessions. Deck space increased to allow for more room for patrons to spread out.
