Surfing at Kansas City pool

Construction is nearing completion for the installation of a FlowRider wave simulation machine at the Bay Water Park in Kansas City, MO.  The new amenity is named the BayRider, which was decided through online voting from community members.  Summer of 2014 will be here before you know it and the FlowRider feature is notorious for drawing quite the crowd!  Long lines and wait times often accompany the FlowRider, but don’t fret, waiting in line gives spectators an opportunity to watch (and judge) others testing out their surfing skills.  Don’t be afraid of a little wipeout, it’s all part of the fun!

Kid running in water ground spray features

The unique water feature at West Glen Town Center in West Des Moines, Iowa features many different spray patterns.  The fountain showcases 29, six foot high sprays that run on a choreographed spray pattern.  One of the coolest aspects, other than the fact that it looks sweet at night is that this water feature doubles as both a beautiful fountain and a unique spray ground for children to play!

Water Fountain

Waters Edge is currently conducting an evaluation and master plan for the Bloch Fountain!  Built in 2001, the fountain is located at 30 West Pershing, Kansas City, MO in front of the city’s historic Union Station.  The fountain features a massive black granite eclipse with a thin sheen of water that surrounds the fountains ring of jets.  In addition, the fountain showcases a computer choreographed, five minute water show powered by 232 jets capable of shooting as high as 60ft.  Waters Edge was hired alongside Crystal Fountains for an evaluation of the fountain.  The video above shows our engineers testing and evaluating the powerful jets that are ran through the fountains sophisticated hydraulics system.
